Obvious and 99% mouse drawn (with an old trackball type mouse because I'm crazy). 1 texture used from insekta @ abnormis. This is actually done. I think pupae are revolting and beautiful. I once brought one to my kindergarten class, in a jar, from my back yard. I told the teacher that, though it looked disgusting, it was supposed to turn into a butterfly. Around the time it would have emerged, I asked my teacher where it was. She told me that she had thrown it away because it turned into a moth or an insect colony or something else unexpected. Everyone, eventually, does the best they can.

nice. your choice of colors is really good, i also like the idea of the reflection. but maybe you could have coloured the pupae too.

haha good story.

Maybe it was like the movie "The faculty" and the insect thing stole the brain of your teacher.

I prefer the top part coz it's hand drawn.

Moth vampire ? Cooooollll

I saw a butterfly fall out of a cocoon at the zoo a few summers ago. It wasn’t as beautiful as I thought it would be. There were several of the little quivering packages in a glass case, like a miniature eco-system hanging over a mass of caterpillars that were feeding and feeding.

Considering your other new piece, you seem to be focusing on this idea of consumption, physical and spiritual, it’s a very compelling idea. I adore this drawing.

How. DARE SHE.

Ha! I just now got your comment. I'd help you track her down, but I can only remember her name as like Miss Shirley or Miss Rainbow or some crap like that...
